From stunning
kitchen and island countertops
to sturdy mudroom benches, consider butcher block
an essential element of your project plan. Its utility and functionality are invaluable and, when properly maintained, will last a lifetime.
Butcher block countertops,
island and bench tops
come factory finished with a food-safe, environmentally-friendly, protective finish that is resistant to stains. For best results, clean finished butcher block surfaces with soapy water or commonly available kitchen countertop cleaners. Do not use abrasives or powder cleansers. Do not allow moisture to stand on the surface for prolonged periods of time. Should a stubborn spill—like red wine—stain the surface, it can be easily removed with a bleach solution or fingernail polish remover with no damage to the finish.
Bally Block’s eye on craftsmanship, sustainability and low-impact manufacturing are some of the reasons they are the world’s oldest and largest manufacturer of butcher block. Their forest stewardship team purchases raw lumber from reputable mills. With sensible harvesting and managed re-growth, they give back to the land what they take. The scrap and sawdust generated in the production process heats their plant and fires their kilns.
