A column located in the center of the space created a challenge in this

master bedroom walk-in closet.

But, this unusual feature became an asset by mounting a

floor to ceiling mirror

on one side of it and adjustable shoe shelves on the opposite side. Wrapping the walls with

double-hanging storage,

drawers and

open shelves

allowed us to expand the functionality of the closet with an abundance of versatile organizational options. The addition of tie hooks protects delicate ties and scarves from being crushed or damaged. If stored in a drawer, ties and scarves can easily become creased, wrinkled or worse—get pulls or holes.
