Cabinet Refacing

While their home is elegant and contemporary, their kitchen was rather plain and lacked character. The homeowners wanted to create a space that was inviting and comfortable; a place to linger over coffee or entertain guests for a casual dinner. Instead of a complete remodeling project, we were able to save time, money and disruption by simply re-facing the cabinets. Since the layout of the kitchen was functioning well, we replaced the corner cabinet’s lazy susan before updating the cabinets with new doors, drawer fronts, end panels, crown moulding and hardware. Introducing glass inserts into the upper doors breathes light and character into this space. They allow you to see beyond the face of the cabinet, yet obscure the contents. Energy efficient LED low voltage lighting was installed under the upper cabinets to provide task lighting or soft illumination in the evening. Today, the earthy brown shaker doors complement the refined style of the rest of the house looking as if they’ve always been there.
